Two days and one night in Libo: a weekend itinerary built around your arrival
Two days and one night do not necessarily give you two full days of sightseeing. Find the time you actually have between arrival and departure, then decide where to go, where to stay and when to rest.
On a first visit, decide what you most want to see
Libo County's introduction to Xiaoqikong lists sights including the old seven-arch bridge, Laya Waterfall, the 68-tier cascades, the Water Forest, Wolong Pool and Yuanyang Lake. Their names can help you choose points of interest, but a historical introduction does not establish that every site is open on your travel date.
Our suggestion is to choose the two or three types of scenery you most want to see, then allow for photographs, rest, meals and transport within the scenic area. Do not measure the weekend by the number of stops completed. Your companions' energy and the time actually available come first.

This option suits travellers who still have a substantial sightseeing window after checking admission arrangements. Adjust these time blocks to your train times and the day's actual opening conditions.

Option two: arrive in the afternoon or evening
Check in, rest and settle the next day's transport first. If the main scenic-area visit is on day two, confirm that departure leaves enough room. With an early departure, the label 'two days and one night' alone does not tell you that a complete visit will fit.
Decide what to do with luggage before checking out: leave it at the hotel, use a storage point confirmed to be available or follow another agreed service arrangement. The end of day two's route needs to connect with luggage collection, or you may add unnecessary backtracking.
Put only achievable plans in the main itinerary
Keep extra sights in an optional column and add them only when time, energy, transport and that day's opening conditions allow. A two-day, one-night trip is about finding the right pace within limited time, not fitting in every popular stop.
Check weather, scenic-area information and your rail journey again before leaving. Use 12306 to look up trains and arrival or departure information by date. If plans change, first adjust fixed departure and accommodation arrangements, then reorganise the more flexible sightseeing blocks.
